Why would a Ranch offer a Free Hunt?
Because the wild hog population in Texas is the largest in all of the Americas, we have to aggressively hunt year-round to try to control the exploding population. In spite of our best hunting, trapping, and other control efforts in the State, the wild hog population has grown from 2 million to over 3 million wild hogs in the last decade. As a result, we must employ the help of hunters from Texas and all over the country to try to slow down this exploding population of wild hogs. As one New Yorker stated after hunting our lands, he said, "Texas has hogs like New York City has rats!"
So what is the catch?
Simply stated, there is no catch. You will pay a booking fee of $75, and the $599 hunt package is yours. It doesn't get any more simple than this.
What is included in my free hog hunt?
This is a 3 day, 2 night hunt package which allows you to harvest 2 hogs of any size with no trophy fees, 2 bobcat, 2 coyote, and unlimited varmints! (This is primarily a hog hunt, and the predators are just a bonus.) Also included are all of your meals, drinks, snacks, lodging, and guide! The value of this free hog hunt is $599.
What is not included in my free hog hunt?
Your transportation to the ranch is not included. You will need to purchase a $45, 5-day non-resident hunting license prior to your arrival to the ranch. Residents pay slightly less. You can find a link to Texas Parks and Wildlife on our FAQ page. You can purchase your license from Texas Parks and Wildlife, over the phone with a credit card. You can also buy your license at any Texas Walmart, once you are in the State. Your Ranch skinners will charge you $35 per hog to gut, skin, and quarter your hog. Please allow $100 minimum gratuity per hunter, which will be divided among your cooks, guides, and skinners.

What if I want to bring a few buddies along on the hunt?
In order for the ranch to be able to give away free hunts, the ranch only allows 1 free hunter on the ranch at any given time. If you choose to bring any hunting buddies along, we will pass on a discount to them of $200 each. Our regular price for this hunt is $599, so this means your buddies can come along at the same time as you for only $399 each. Your buddies can also claim a free hunt, but will have to attend at a different time.
This hunt cannot be used within 60 days of purchase, and you have a full year to use your hunt. (If you wish to hunt within 60 days, regular charges apply.) You can check-in on any available Monday, Wednesday, or Friday during this time. This entire offer is valid for 1st time customers only, and cannot be used with a group that has previously purchased a hunt package. See our calendar to review available dates

Where will this hunt take place?
We have 1000's of acres of hog hunting lands, all in South and Central Texas. The exact ranch that you will hunt will be determined by where we need to harvest the most hogs. You will be given a unique user ID and Password that will give you directions to the ranch you will hunt. Everyone in your group will sign in on the FAQ page, 4 items down. FAQ
What do I need to do to claim my free hog hunt?
To claim your free hunt, click on the link below, and fill out all information requested, as incomplete forms will be deleted. You will be charged your booking fee of $75, and a deposit of $200 per hunter for others that you choose to bring. This can be paid with any major credit or debit card. Your hunt is free, so no deposit is taken for your hunt, or if you choose to attend the hunt alone, you will only be charged your $75 booking fee upon registering. Once your credit card has been charged the appropriate deposits, you will receive an email
confirming your hunt. You can schedule your hunt dates upon purchase, or you can call back and schedule your hunt dates at a later time. You have a full year to use your hunt, based on the availability on the calendar..
